Warren Haynes covers Johnny Winters' "Memory Pain" (Serves Me Right to Suffer)

This is from the 2021 tribute album "Brother Johnny" that Edgar Winters produced for his late brother Johnny. Guest musicians were invited to cover one of Johnny's songs. There are some great musicians like Billy Gibbons, Derek Trucks, Doyle Bramhall II, Joe Bonamassa, Joe Walsh, Kenny Wayne Shepherd, Michael McDonald, Robben Ford, and Steve Lukather, on the album. Anyway according to the liner notes most artists came in to the studio and spent a day doing the rhythm track, another day doing lead tracks, and the another day doing the vocals. Warren Haynes walked in, plugged in his guitar and played this version live and got it in one take. The version you hear is the version he recorded live in the studio.
