Anyone ever had luck straightening out warped vinyl?

I know about the oven trick (not touching that) and the flattening machines (too expensive).

Any other tips/tricks? Just have 2 albums I was given I’d really like to flatten out if possible

I have a rare record that I searched high and low for and eventually found a copy. Got it home and it wasn't warped enough to even see at first but just enough to make the needle skip. I tried everything, oven, weights, sun exposure... nothing.

People hate CDs and digital these days but at least they don't do this. It's extremely frustrating.

I was thinking of getting some weights and sandwiching the albums in the hot attic or garage for a few days And seeing what happens

I've heard about putting it in the oven. Problem is, I don't have two thick pieces of glass like that. I guess anything would work that is ok to heat up to 160?

I've had luck placing warped records at the bottom of a stack. Put a good sized, heavy stack of records on top and wait a couple weeks.

This method isn't great if you have no patience, but I've had it work.
