I haven't been to burning man but I went to alchemy last year which is the Georgia version and the 2nd biggest burn in the nation and it was absolutely insane.

How long does it take to get into the grounds? I bought the early pass that will let me get in Wednesday at 4. Does it take forever to get in witht he early pass?

Gates may be closed longer than usual this year on wednesday due to severe showers...Also pack for much chillier weather.

Doesn't take long. 2-3 hours at the very most. That includes getting your wristband and making the trek to the festival grounds

Unfortunately I won't get there until 6ish thursday evening. I'm hoping the lines are down by then, at least it will make me feel better about getting there that late.

The lines are mainly packed if you get there wednesday night. Y'all shouldn't wait long to get in.
