Vampire Weekend New Album This Spring

I wouldn't consider myself a huge fan of this band, but I thoroughly enjoy their debut LP and liked Modern Vampires quite a bit. They have released a couple songs from the new album - "Harmony Hall" and "2021." For those that were big fans of their debut LP, you'll most likely enjoy "Harmony Hall." It's sort of got a similar vibe, while "2021" seems more like a interlude sort of track.
Give Harmony Hall a listen.
No idea on official release date, but for now they've said "Spring 2019."

I’ve been digging Harmony Hall. Love that piano in the chorus.

I'm a pretty big fan of this band, even though I almost feel guilty about it at times because they're so freaking bubblegum catchy pop.
Harmony Hall is really interesting... with the piano and guitar around 3:30 or so, the band starts to sound a bit like Phish jamming. Maybe it's the effect that Ezra is using on his guitar.

They also didn't help their cause much when I saw them live and, I swear, half the show was Rostam prompting pre-recorded instrumentation and vocals by pushing buttons behind his keyboard.
Still loved the hell out of the show, though.

I think they went on hiatus at some point and their guitarist left...so their future was uncertain.

I love the underlying afrobeat in vw’s music.
Definitely one of my guilty pleasures.
Saw them a few years ago at mahia jackson and they put on a great show.

Great album for what it is. I really dig the sings with the chick singing also, great compliment to ezras voice.

I’m thoroughly enjoying it. It may lag a little in the middle, but other than that it’s pretty great. It came out of a great time too, I imagine it will get a lot of spins the summer.
