Most accurate one I've found.

I was just messing around looking for new music, and I found this website. You list 3 artists/bands you like and it will recommend someone. You can either like or dislike it, and it will give you someone else.

It's legit. I'd recommend sticking to the mostly the same genre when listing your artists.

I messed around with it all day and liked 90% of the artists I got. Some I had heard of, others were insanely obscure.

I entered:

Tyler Childers
Josh Ritter
Jason Isbell

Here are the ones I got that I liked:
Ian Noe
Hillbilly JED (Only has 430 monthly listeners)
Colter Wall
Brent Cobb
Arlo Mckinley

Feel free to post the artists you entered and the results you got back. It would be helpful to everyone as well.

Entered:
Pavement
Built to Spill
The Figments ( it didn't know who Figments were)

Output:
Just solo projects from people in Pavement and Built to Spill.

To somewhat screw with them:

The Who
Frank Zappa
Son Volt

Got:

Golden Smog
Extincion
Bottle Rockets
Fabulas

Golden Smog and Bottle Rockets seem like decent picks. I know nothing about Extincion but the track they linked is very good. Unfortunately it is the only track they linked for any band.

Hasn’t pandora been doing this for over a decade?

Personally, I found it way better than Pandora.

I remember giving a thumbs up to a Willie Nelson song on Pandora and it gave me a Florida Georgia Line song next.

frickin A.

Pandora, where all roads lead to the Red Hot Chili Peppers.

Put in Cold War Kids, Vampire Weekend, and Nada Surf.
Got The Western States Motel (generic but okay) whom I did not know and will not continue to listen to. Delta Spirit; who is hit and miss but not bad over all. The third suggestion was a band called Stormy Strong and they are really, really bad. Here

When I used it, any station, no matter how programmed, would eventually play Folsom Prison Blues and Long Cool Woman in a Black Dress.
