If you grew up a big fan of bands like Talking Heads, Zeppelin or Metallica, you'll love UM.
I like UM much more personally, the range and unpredictability of their shows keep me coming. Because of this, they have no "real" genre and often get labeled robotic. I don't see it that way. I like the roller coaster ride of going from a NIN cover to Women Wine & Song, then straight into the triple wide.
Here's one of my favorite UM jams. Ocean Billy (Red Rocks - 18 min.)
WSP is a great band too if you grew up a big fan of Skynyrd and Allman Bros. I'm glad they both exist
