Turntable Setup -AudioEngine A5 + AT160 rig? Anyone running this?

I am looking to take my turntable out of the media closet and have it in my LR where it accessible a little easier. The BT connection is spotty at the distance I have it so I was thinking about some nice bookshelf speakers that wouldn't require another receiver.
I see this setup mentioned a lot. Does anyone have any thoughts on this rig? Good enough for an open LR / Dining setup, maybe 1600 sq ft of open space.

Love my A5s, should be sufficient for that much space. When I get a spare 300 bucks I'll be adding the s8 to it, but it will probably be overkill for my small space.
With that much space maybe floor standing speakers would be better?

I was really hoping not to have to move my receiver or run a bunch of speaker wire from theater room to living room. I get by most of the time with my Echo so this would be an upgrade for that area!
IS the S8 the sub? I need to look into that.

Yeah it's the sub. I guess it really depends on how loud you want it to be. I play mine very loudly and can tell they are getting stretched a little thin in my living room/dining room and that's about 1000 sq ft , but that's pushing them to the max, and theres no doubt they would still fill a bigger space. I think the addition of the sub would really make them sound superb, but then you are looking at 600-700 bucks once you are said and done.
This would be a night and day difference from the echo. I think you would be pleased if you went with them.
