Joey Dosik is a great song writer, “Running Away” and “Game Winner” are both his.
Birds of a Feather, Baby I don’t know oh oh, Running Away, Grandmother and Business Casual are the standouts for me. That last track pisses me off and take away from it being a nearly great album. Still really solid. Vulfpecks highs are as good as anyone’s but they haven’t put together a complete album IMO. Thrill of the Arts is their most complete I’d say, but even that one had to have the wtf track at the end

If you haven’t seen them live definitely do it. They are one of my favorite bands but they far exceeded expectations. The musicianship is unbelievable, Joe Dart is a machine.

Their live performance, specifically the continual stupid banter, has made them unlistenable to me.

Too much slow r&b and not enough funk.
I liked them much better as an instrumental funk band.
This is by far my least favorite album of theirs.
