Heroes has drawn a mixed response from long-time fans so far. Some of the new nostalgia-heavy singles seem a little too grabby for radio play, but their beloved retrowave signature sound is still apparent on several of the tracks.

The classic-sound singles:

"Heart Worth Breaking"

"Aerostar"

"Loved By You"

The commercially aimed singles:

"Brooklyn. Friday. Love." (Wouldn't be surprised to see this eventually become a monster hit.)

"Heartbeat"

"Change Your Heart or Die"

"Avalanche"

Haven't listened to the new album yet but definitely going to see them next month in Birmingham.

I'm debating going to the NOLA show. Almost worth driving further to Birmingham just to not deal with NOLA.

First time seeing them live?
