good movie, but bittersweet at the same time. yeah, i'm in the "frick robbie robertson" camp too. the rest of the band probably could've continued on (like they always wanted to, anyway) successfully if it wasn't for 'the last waltz'....IMO, all that movie did was take the wind out of the sails of everyone not named robbie robertson, being that its intention seemingly was to elevate RR to deity status, while minimizing everyone else by comparison.

Jaime Robert Klegerman was the exact opposite of the Heart or Soul of the Band. Every other member could qualify for those but Robbie. He thought (thinks) that he was something he wasn't, and screwed the rest of the guys to try and go Hollywood. Douche.
