thats where im leaning. first run had some "i kinda like that, but not so much that....." but the more times ive heard it the wider the distance between those gets.

so who will be at the show tomorrow? they played a sharp, albeit brief, set at ACL sunday. Finished in 50 mins during an hour slot but MUCH better than voodoo last year.

That light show was an abortion for the first few songs but otherwise an entertaining set.

Sounded good. The set list was submitted by a fan, and was solid. Generally a good show. Where'd you see the set list?
And I can't underscore enough how ridiculous the 8 high powered spotlights shining in the crowds faces for the first 15 mins was (and less terrible but occasionally similar later in the show). I've been to a lot of shows and that was among the least well thought out ideas I've ever seen. Even when not blinding you it wasn't that visually interesting

I was really really drunk, but the sound did seem better than when I went to Neutral Milk Hotel and stayed sober and WTF on the show starting early

sound was a big step up. not the best i ever heard, but better.
i forgot about the starting early issue - yea, that was pretty bad too. the tour manager was not a winner for this show.
