The Point in L5P had some great shows .... a nice small room for touring acts.
The Masquerade in it's O4W location was the spot with their multiple venues across three floors or so.
The Somber Reptile was a good punk rock venue on the west side before it got fancy.
Even the famed strip club Clermont Lounge had shows. So did Wax n Facts. And a smattering of other venues around town.
