One thing they left out was that steep arse stair case that went from the jungle room outside and you had to reenter through the front. Luckily I never busted my arse but saw many many people that did.

that was definitely a death trap. i would always try to finish my drink before attempting to waddle down the stairs.

also nothing beat stumbling out of the palace as the sun is rising on a sunday morning and all the on-lookers starring at a thousand rolled out kids looking like zombies in the streets

I'd be in such a great mood that I would sing to homeless people and give them my cigarettes and spare change as we walked back to the car. P.L.U.R.

But then halfway through the drive back to USM I'd start thinking I was dying. One time I had to be the driver and I coulda swore rabbits kept running out in front of the car on the interstate.

I know every time I left, It was to drive back to Hammond to go party at The Hollow and I always got fricked up right when you get on the interstate over Lake Pontchartrain and it goes from three lanes to two. I would ALWAYS start "OG" trolling harder at that moment.

Amazingly I never got pulled over or in an accident.

I was lucky. At the time - I was living in an little apartment above the Panda T-Shirt shop on Bourbon across from Chris Owens.

I threw a couple parties in what is now the Cotton Gin Building across from Metro (City Lights?).
