There is no other artist that is more beloved that I like less. Just never been able to take a liking to his stuff/ understand the adoration he gets. So, give me some albums and I'll try again since I seem to be missing something.

Born to Run is pretty much where you start to like him or can't stand him. If you cannot appreciate a track like "Jungleland", then you probably won't care much for him.

The beat Springsteen starter is to see him live. Failing that, watch some of his '70s concert footage, such as his London '75 show.

I'm not a huge Bruce fan either, but you should get a copy of Born to Run, as that is his most iconic album. Then get the quiet and contemplative Nebraska, the Springsteen album for people who don't like Springsteen.
