(Comment 2) Dont you realize its all STAGE. What you see is FAR from reality. Drama and theatrics abound in the backstage areas where I basically lived for 15 years. YES After Forever was/is her original natural singing voice BEFORE.....all her famed emotional breakdowns and institution visits and meds. ReVamp was the result of some kind people trying to help her put her life back together after that episode and THEY FIRED HER within the 1st year! AS FAR AS VOCAL AID....you can buy that shite on ebay for $20. The most expensive is maybe $250 US. It comes with SOFTWARE and is an APP. You can also download the same APP for your smart phone.....DUHH. Floor Jansen was/is considered the most dangerous person in fem metal and she sabotaged that genre until now it barely exists. OTHER FEMS HUMOR HER but NONE are her actual friends. She basically is the Celine Dion of fem metal.


SO AS FAR AS STAGE SHOW, Nightwish always can do that or at least they could as they are no longer actually a band. Halopainen had a certain knack for stage gimmicks beginning with the large Edward Scissor hands doll affixed to his keyboard that morphed into the Dr Seuss mega keyboard we saw later. These guys have MANY TRICKS UP THEIR SLEEVES, and most people would be surprised IF NOT TOTALLY SHOCKED because in the end it is ONLY A STAGE SHOW FOR ENTERTAINMENT PURPOSES. If Jansen really was THAT CLASSIC OF A MEZZO SOPRANO....then why wasnt she ever considered to sing with the REAL SYMPHONY ORCHESTRAS IN EUROPE LIKE TARJA IS? Or Heidi Parviainen? Even Sabine Edelsbacher is very much highly regarded over Floor by her contempraries and her band Edenbridge which is 1 year older then Nightwish and who has released MORE albums,,,,,is ablout to release another = DYNAMIND.


Just please do not FIXATE on these people. Floor puts on a good stage show as long as she has the props and aids. So does Taylor Swift. Perfoming ARTS is what that is....but has little to do with actual vocal ability like Simone Simons, Tarja Turunen, or Anette Olzon actually has and apply in every single concert WITHOUT VOCAL AIDS.
