Recommendation: Amazon Prime Streaming Ryan Adams "Live After Deaf" collection. 174 songs. He's better live than in studio (well, when he's sober enough to stay upright).

Got my vinyl on the 9th and it's had several spins. There are a few high points, but sadly they're scattered about and hidden in a whole bunch of utter shite. This record is a big step back for this guy. I think my girlfriend said it best when she said "every one of these songs sounds like it should be a duet with Stevie Nicks."

that link in the OP reminds me of how bad the gaslight anthems new record is. he gave it 4 stars and it's a turd compared to other albums
