That is one hell of a festival lineup. I could see Dave sitting in on drums for a QOTSA song as well.

Won't be there.. playing Jazz Fest

Queens played Riot a day after the Foo this year - and Dave was long gone.

Educated guess - they were booked three times in a row, never happened and last year didn't start touring with Freese until the end of May so probably gave Quint their word to play this year.

I don't know what weekend they'll play, Saturday in Nola (with Jazz Fest ending at 7 pm) then Sunday in Atlanta makes sense - but they could easily be first weekend

True, and imagine the once heralded Interpol listed beneath both.

Agreed. Interpol is still great. I've seen them twice in the last year. It is time they finally played Jazz Fest.

Also sounds like he would be boring in concert but to each his own.

He is a very good musician, both on record and in person, but his popularity will turn off many, and it did F over highwater fans.

Good lineup. They always tend to be solid though. Need to check it out one year, so hopefully this is it.

Would be cool. Not sure if Quint would book them. Could maybe play Saenger or Orpheum during that weekend

I hate how Shaky Knees is during Jazz Fest. Cool lineup.

Foo Fighters just announced a May 1 Dallas date - I think Jazz Fest is close to a lock
