Second arrest in Lil Snupe murder

A second suspect has been arrested in connection with the murder of Meek Mill protégé Lil Snupe. Edrick O. Stewart, a 21-year-old resident of Monroe, Louisiana, was booked into the Winnfield City Jail on charges of manslaughter Wednesday (July 3), according to a statement released to MTV News by the Winnfield Police. Originally, Snupe's suspected killer, 36-year-old Tony Holden turned himself into authorities on June 25 and was charged with first-degree murder, armed robbery and illegal possession of a firearm by a convicted felon. Authorities are not releasing any further details on Stewart's involvement in the homicide at this time, but they did release a photograph of the accused. No bond has been set for Stewart at press time, but one is expected, as Holden, who is currently being held at another facility, was granted a $2 million bond that he was unable to post.
