My family and I are going to NOLA the weekend of July 31st and are thinking about going to the My Morning Jacket concert at Bold Sphere Music Friday night. Does anyone have recommendations on seating or any other general advice for the venue? TIA

Seating? I'm pretty sure you just stand in the big concrete area. People usually go sit on the Dome steps in the back though.

Some shows have seats, some don't.

Venue Seating
I've never been there and I was just going off the venue's seating chart. I didn't know if it was worth it to buy a reserved ticket for an actual seat or to go the general admission route for the stage pit or the back area. The venue looks relatively small so I assume there isn't a bad seat.

It's definitely not a big area. I've never been when they had the seat layout though. I can't imagine any seat being terrible. They don't really have any side areas or anything that you might get stuck in.

I can get tix for $55 for Floor section C or $36 for general admission in the back. Is it worth the extra $ to sit in the reserved seats?

Reserved seating goes pretty far back for this show. I wouldn't do GA for this one. Pay the extra $$$. It's going to be an awesome show.

Thank you, sir! We're really looking forward to it. How's the adult beverage selection and pricing...$8 a beer?
