My wife and I went to see the Del McCoury band last night at the Ryman and he brought out John Oats who did a John Prine song, then he brought out Lucas Nelson for one then he brought out Billy strings to help close it out. It was an incredible show to say the least. Anyone else happen to be there?

Damn. That's a lucky draw.

For sure, that’s one reason I like living here, you never know who might appear on stage as a special guest but that was extra special to me.

I think it'd be special for any fan of music, but I'm glad this one hit you in the right places.

Did everyone stand for the whole show? The wife and I went to a concert a couple weeks ago. Had seats in the balcony thinking everyone would remain seated but they didn’t. Sucked because we could hardly see shite. Besides that was an awesome show, great sound in the mother church.

Oh wow that sounds miserable.. the standing part
Luckily when I saw Explosions in the sky back in September the balcony remained seated and respectful the entire show. Post rock rocking our faces off.
The last big part of “ the only moment we were alone”.. felt like the walls were gonna cave in at the monstrosity of sound emanating. Whew.
