Rondo appreciation/pay it forward thread

One of our Music Board regulars, Rondo, offered up a last minute free pair of tix for the Cure this evening here on the MB.

Just getting home from work, I had just fired up a cigar and opened up TD to the MB when I came across his thread. Since Mrs. Esquandolas travels during the week and I was sitting here solo and bored, I replied that I would like to use his tix..

Within 5 minutes the electronic tix and prepaid parking pass were in my email and I was off to see the Cure at the Lakefront Arena!

I told Rondo I wanted to reimburse him for the tix, but he said no way...so I will find a way to pay it forward to someone here on the MB.

An old friend of mine joined me for the show.

I gotta say, Robert Smith seems to have 100% of his vocals he had 30 years ago. The band was tight. He said they weren't going to repeat any songs from tonight's show at tomorrow's show.

I did get to see one of my favorites from the Cure--Push. The Forest, the Hanging Garden, and InBetween Days were also great.
