GoodbyeBaby
I never felt like this

Jack Scott.

Oldie but a goodie. Often overlooked. Just a couple of my favorite songs by him.

There's an aggie radio sportstalkradio host that has forever opened his show up with southern culture's Camel Walk. That opening riff and howl!

There is a Rockabilly show on Tuesday nights at 8pm Here. You can stream it live but no on demand streams.

It's my favorite genre. It morphed into psychobilly and I enjoy much of that too.

Carl Perkins was the King of Rockabilly, but early Elvis was clearly it's Golden God.

IMO, Elvis was the confluence of modern music over the last 100+ years. He merged the R&B, country and popular music that came before into one stripped down pure form - guitar, rhythm guitar and stand up bass - from which layers started being added again as the genres diverged once more.

Elvis was also the original gangsta. The first to have his own personal posse. Cars, women, bling.
