I was clearly a little drunk when I started this thread
We were 7th row. Didn't expect assigned seating but regardless....
Kiedis still has it.
Flea was SICK to see live.
Smith further cemented his spot in my top 10 modern drummers. Maybe top 5.
DAMMIT I WANTED TO SEE JOHN. Klinghoffer wasn't bad by any stretch but it felt like he was just trying to do his best Frusci impression. He even used the same guitars on the same songs. Maybe I'm just being too critical because John is one of my all time favorites. He just didn't have the same soul and feel you see on their concerts with john. Nonetheless, he wasn't bad. Started off kinda meh but he played much better as the show progressed. I think they may have had his mix a little off early.

Side Note: Little brothers first concert and needless to say he's hooked. He was looking up other shows to go to the entire way home. He goes to ULM and, not even thinking about it, wore his ULM football shirt. Needless to say, he caught some shite

FWIW, Afghan Wigs (90s alt.rock band) is coming to your area soon. Great show if you're interested.

Where they coming to? He goes to ULM but we're from the bossier area.
Verizon is a pretty solid venue too. Saw Foo Fighters there last year. Everything is run well, the lines aren't terrible, and the sound is great.

The Whigs at Tipitina's were fantastic. Highly recommend making a show.

Same here. They had an odd setlist for a 30-year old band. I think the only Stadium Arcadium song was Dani.
shite I wish they would've played:
Otherside
Snow (or Charlie)
My Friends (I know they rarely play OHM songs but still. It is one of my favorites.
Breaking the Girl
Knock Me Down
Suck my Kiss
Hard to Concentrate
Don't Forget Me (biggest snub IMO)
Around the World
Still a good show though. I was REALLLLLY surprised they didn't play Otherside OR Around the World.

Saw them in nola around 2002. Snoop opened. Rap kind of sucks live but he was ok. RHCP rocked and I was actually surprised how good they were bc I'd heard the vocals weren't good live.
