So as I was leaving the Fest Sunday we exited the Acura field across the little bridge near where I have drawn the red arrow on the map. As we were exiting, I noticed that there is a pretty decent view from over there on that little slope that comes up from the trench. We normally setup a spot on Acura right of the sound stage but I'm interested in that specific area now that I noticed the nice little view from there. So my question is, anybody ever sat in this area before? How is the sound over there?

sound is ok there, starts to get iffy a little further back. That side is usually about half as crowded as the right side though so it is usually where I try and scope a spot.

Yeah, I would imagine so. I certainly wouldn't try to go any further back than where that viewing stand is. Like I said, I had never really noticed the view from that slope before so that kinda has me more intrigued than anything else. Plus it seems like it might be would be easier to get in and out of that are to move around to other stages throughout the day.

We were right at the back edge of that viewing stand this past Saturday and the sound was good.

However, you can barely see the musicians there and sometimes barely even the screens depending on how many flags are flying that day.
