The place will be missed. I saw a lot of great shows there over the years.
I know one of the owners is opening up a Coffee Shop/Bar Venue called Saturn in Avondale. Maybe it'll keep the same spirit.

Damn. Only went a few times in college but still brought better music than Zydeco.

Booooo. Kind of an awkward and crowded place for a big show but it was still great and I loved it. Hey definitely booked some of the better acts in Birmingham. It's recently been named one of the better venues in the southeast by a few publications so I imagine that plus how up and coming Avondale is that the sell is a money grab.
