Agreed.

OB really isn't anything special. The beauty of it is being connected to a mini mall with restaraunts and bars. It's just a different scene.

Burt needs to get back from his quest to achieve Enlightenment and post some jam band related trolls

From the OP
quote:

Our official man on the ground Chester will be providing all of the official updates as we travel throughout the country for this summer tour.

Is Eddie calling himself Chester?

Eddie and I email sometimes. His name is listed "Chester B"...presumably as Chester B Eddie and he is always watching, waiting...

Eddie/Sally/Chester isn't bad. Newsflash: most "normal" people think jam band fans are weird .

We aren't exactly your stereotypical jam band fans on here. I'm willing to bet 90% of the posters in this thread work in an office and dress as a normal young professional would.

I mean I drive a 06 Honda Accord. That's about as unheady as it gets

Most people at shows meet that criteria.

Other people think it is weird that you drive around the country to see the same band multiple times in a row.

Dont you get tired of seeing the same show over and over again?

Well count me out of this.

I've done it maybe twice. I just don't have the time or care for it. Now I'll travel anywhere to see that band once or if it is a weekend run. But I'm not about to hop on tour. If I'm doing a season long vacation I am going somewhere to see a variety of things, not the same band in variety of venues.

?

I remember last year in Denver someone was confused as why I would travel there to see a band.

Yeah hotels are fricked for OB. It's Florabama's 50th Anniversary weekend so the best bet would be Gulf Shores or somewhere near the Wharf. Anything on Canal Rd would be a good spot for anyone going to OM the next day and aren't worried about hitting the beach. They are still cheap since they aren't on the beach
