For PWD/heavy fans, what do you think?

I wasn't a big fan of Ire as I didn't care for the more 80's metal/stadium rock vibe but I've loved all their previous albums.

The new song is interesting. Love Winston's vocals and the departure from the 80s metal style. Seems a bit more thrash. Really excited for the "new alabum"

Love PD. This is starting to grow in me.

Have liked each album and all tend to grow on me to the point I listen constantly.

I was disappointed. I didn't like Ire, I have a particular taste in metal and I enjoy bands who don't stray from it. I do understand bands trying to grow, but changing your sound so dramatically takes away the main reason why I enjoyed the sound in the first place. After Ire, I've lost confidence in this band for MY tastes, I think it's great their changing sound, but unfortunately not what I like. I'll give the album a listen and keep an open mind, but my hopes are not that high.

ETA: I will say I have extremely HIGH hopes for Chelsea Grins new album. They have collaborated with Josh Travis, and that guy is a MACHINE, i love his style of music. I can't contain my hype for this album.

I can say this is a contradiction to my first paragraph, but Chelsea Grin was another one of those bands experimenting with their sound, I think they got it out of their system after Ashes to Ashes, and SORT of went back to their original sound. However this collab with Josh Travis...STOKED.

I had a chance to see PWD drive a year or so ago at HOB in NOLA. Probably the most energetic show I've ever been too.

I've been listening to this on repeat the past week after seeing a live version of it at Underworld in London on YouTube.
