There is no better version of this song than Anne Wilson at RRHOF.

Anne and Nancy Wilson didn't do 'Over The Hills and Far Away'
They did do Stairway To Heaven. At the Kennedy Center.
I just watched their version again. Good cover performance. But I wasn't a fan the over-the-top gospel choruses and strings in that version of Stairway to Heaven. Neither belongs.
Lexington Lab's version was true to the studio version of Stairway To Heaven (which included reed players.) Imo a much better cover. Plus LLB are local musicians.
I've never seen anyone try to cover 'Over The Hills'. LLB did it and it was near note-perfect. I prefer covers that are true to the studio version.

I prefer covers that are true to the studio version.

So you listen to covers just to hears the changes in vocals, harmonies, tone, instrumentation, beats, and ad lib solos?
The reason true-to-studio covers are so exquisite to me is exactly because it is so rare form of art & precision to meet that challenge.
