There was a poster on here a while back, that had been doing drum tracks for people online. Does he still post here?

Maybe the guy will answer you but if not you can always go to fiverr and pay somebody to lay down some drums for you.

I'm always kicking myself for not ever learning basic drums.

Muh man! Got a simple little demo recorded here at home. Needs some simple drums. I mean like a 3 piece kit kind of thing.
Tell me how you like to do things.
It's a simple country song, but I want a drum beat similar to Radar love, but slowed down a little.

I'd honestly be thrilled to lay down some drums on it. I love doing this shite.

You can place the .wav file into google drive, and give me the link, or you can email it to me, or you can upload it to soundcloud with the option for download. I prefer the first method as it keeps the file from getting compressed.

Did you record the demo to a metronome?

Sorry it took so long to get back to you, I had some things to do here. I have recorded it with vocals and 2 guitar parts, but no click track.
I'm going to record it again anyway, because I want it faster. You tell me what you want and I will do that. Do you want just a click and guitar? Click/guitar/ vocal?..?
As a matter of fact, when you do the drum track, I want that entirely by itself, and then I will do a good recording with that. if that's possible for us to do.

sure thing, no worries.
If you just wanna lay down scratch tracks of one guitar take and one vocal take so I can get an idea of the song, that's all I need. I don't actually need the click track, just let me know the tempo it was recorded at.
I'll then go in, record the drum take, and send it back to you to layer your final takes on.

That sounds perfect. can I just send you the slow recording that I have already done? It'll give you an idea of the song, even though I want to do it a bit faster?

I'll just go ahead and re-record it tonight, that will be better. Then send it to you.

can I have an e-mail? I would rather do it this way, because I don't want it floatin around on the interwebs just yet.

Got it thanx man!

I'll have something for you tomorrow sometime. Really looking forward to doing this. We'll figure out a way to pay you for your trouble.

I really have a lot of stuff that I want to get recorded soon. Maybe this can be a good thing for both of us.

I'm down with writing. We don't need to worry about payments or anything at the moment. I enjoy doing this.

Hey drumdoc, I am having a little trouble with a little part of the guitar. I need to step away for a little bit. It may be tonight or tomorrow before I can get it to you.
