On this day in 1947 Stephen Peter Marriott was born. Not only the best vocalist ever but a prolific songwriter and guitarist. He is sadly missed by all. Always in our hearts and memories. He left a legacy for all to enjoy.
In 1966 on this day the Small Faces recorded Sha la la la lee for thank your lucky stars.

I recently went on a Small Faces binge on YouTube. These guys were absolutely great.
Ronnie Lane was an awesome bassist as well. Lane/Jones = rock solid rhythm section and very under appreciated.
