He just compiled a bunch of stuff that's been said by the group over recent past. Danny for sure wants to put in some more work before he hangs up his sticks.

Nothing earth shattering... they said immediately after FI that they had tons of material and would begin working with that. I’d imagine another album of some sort in 2023.

He said to create an album for Tool he needs to attack the drums a certain way and he doesn't know how many more years he will have the ability to attack them in that way. Im paraphrasing but he says it in the above video.

The clock is ticking more for him that the others, for sure. He's the oldest and that's "drummer" years. Seems like he's in pretty good shape for his age, but he's also a huge, 6'4", 6'5" man and his back probably only has a finite number of shows left in it.
Word was back when FI was released they had enough raw material to almost put together another album. So, maybe we're on a 2 to 3-cycle, rather than 16 this time.

That dude was putting out teasers for FI in 2014. I would temper my expectations.
