The NBA is so much better to watch than college basketball it's ridiculous. Not even a contest. Better rules, better players, better refs.
I fully understand that. I still don't really care. I have way more of a rooting interest in LSU basketball than I ever will for any NBA team. I still want the Pels to succeed... I just don't really care

You seem to have a lot of butthurt directed towards NOLA/Louisiana lately. Missing home?

I blame Sean Payton and Les Miles

not counting this season, he only has two years left on his contract. his bags are basically already packed for Los Angeles

So how many years is he obligated to play in New Orleans?
Posted on 11/16/14 at 3:33 pm to CaptainPanic
High pick rookies in the NBA sign contracts that make them restricted agents after the length of their first contract
Meaning no matter what offer AD gets after his first contract they can match it, and he plays for NOLA
Which they of course will do. Second contracts are usually max deals for guys like Davis, so that means 5 years.
So yea Davis may leave eventually, but it will be more like 2020

Yeah, putting Davis in the same breath as Gordon is a low blow. Uncalled for. Sorry. I'm still talking out of hurt.

Fascinating stuff. They still need to raise the goals before it becomes a physical sport though.

NBA is pwning the NFL right now
Pwning
This is the most popular the NBA has been since Jordan, and they keep making good rule changes and smart financial decisions, the exact opposite of football
In 20 years I would not be shocked if people laugh at the idea that football was the biggest thing in America like they laugh at baseball now
Thanks Roger

Not really. At least not in terms of money and popularity.
And I hate what the NFL has become FWIW.

Not really. At least not in terms of money and popularity.
but they're making so many better business decisions, and if they keep up with the "football is dangerous" shite for a lot longer its going to kill the sport
Thanks lawyers
