Anyone else listening to their new album, Attack On Memory? Definitely in my top 5 so far for 2012. On my list of bands to see.

Probably my favorite album of the year so far, but I really haven't listened to a ton of stuff from this year. Good album though.

If you haven't listened to The Men's album, Open Your Heart, I would urge you to do so. It took me a couple of listens to really 'get it', but right now I actually like it more than Cloud Nothings.

I guess it's still pretty early right? But Frankie Rose is good. Her song Know Me sounds like her backing band is The Smiths. That is, if The Smiths ever used a drum machine.
