re: new dave's picks, double shot of 87 dead

Just heard Lemieux talking about it while playing a few tracks on GD Channel 23. He said it would probably sell out quickly.

I stopped subscribing because there are just too many shows to get around to listening to completely, and I have them all on a hard drive, but like ‘87, so I walked in the door and jumped on the site to order.

sold out

I caught Dave’s radio special yesterday, what he played sounds great. The matrix mix is nice you get soundboard quality mixed with the audience tape, so you get a good feel for what it sounded like to be there.

80s dead isn’t my favorite but the matrix mixes are fun to listen to

Found both on Relisten with audio good enough.
2nd night is really good quality. 1st night decent.
I’m listening to the early Brent years til 83. Listened to all of 83. Prob go back to 66-74 after that.

GREAT deal if you're a subscriber. Heard a few folks elsewhere complaining about the matrix, but why? I'll take that over a straight flat & dry board recording, any day.

people will complain about anything.
to me the matrix is what makes this release interesting. I normally avoid post 79 but I will listen to this. It’s like being at the show
