New Coldplay Album - Oct 15. +9 minute album closer available

New album is called "Music of the Spheres." Some songs titles on the new album are just emojis... 
I don't consider myself a big coldplay fan, but I dig some of their stuff. The album closer that they released is way better than anything I'd expect them to put out now. It may be one of their better/best songs too. Listen here.

After what’s been put out in the last 5 years, listening back to their early albums gives me a new appreciation for them.

Viva La Vida was a god damn masterpiece
Orphans was the best song they’ve made in nearly a decade
They Peaked with VLV and haven recaptured the magic yet. And their single “Higher Power” didn’t give me any glimmer of hope.

That's my favorite one as well, though it kinda got tainted with all the accusations that they stole / copied music from other artists for a few of the songs on the album.

Don’t remember anything from it .
I watched like a 3 hour documentary on the band leading up to their live in rio performance, was interesting.

It’s ok to like different things. I love music all over the spectrum and throughout time, and probably a lot of the same stuff you like.

Good lord that Coloratura 9 minute song is absolutely gorgeous. Man it’s good to hear some actual instruments anymore.

Just listened to coloratura and man that was great. One of the best songs I've heard in a while. Definitely giving off some Floyd vibes on this one.

Really don’t think that new Coldplay song is anything great. I guess the bar is so low tho that it’s nice to just not have that house music sound they’ve been spewing for a while to try and stay “hip”
