These guys (and gal) are a hell of a rock band. Digging the single and looking forward to the album.

Been my favorite rock band for about 6 years now. If you've never seen a live show .. holy shite, they fricking kill it. I saw them in NYC and at HOB in Dallas and my god, fricking rocked my face off. They're playing in both Dallas and Houston in April. fricking pumped. Gonna try to make the Houston show.

Thanks for the link.

Outside of hometown San Fran, BRMC is almost more popular in Europe over the last decade than America. And as R2R mentions it's cool that you can always catch them in alt scene dive bars for cheap if they the headlining act.

I love BritRock, and European Rock sensibilities. Obscure alt bands like The Replacements, The Pixies, etc..oft had the same great reception across the pond..they at times can see better obscure greatness in it's heyday..before the 20/20 vision retro reviews.

Cover of a song by The Call.

I have seen BRMC a couple of times now. Hot women galore at their shows.

I remember The Call and that song, around 1988 or 1989? Sorta Big Country meets The Waterboys lite.

Sad. I just read this on Wiki about 'Let The Day Begin'..

The Call's founder Michael Been died on August 19, 2010 after suffering a heart attack backstage at the Pukkelpop music festival in Hasselt, Belgium, where he was working as sound engineer for his son's band Black Rebel Motorcycle Club.[5]

i saw BRMC in Okl City during the Howl tour, and he played a song or two with the band. it was a pretty small show, and i think alot of Been's family were there. I saw them three times that tour, and this show was by far the best they played.

as far as this cover, i like it better than anything off the last record. and im glad they ditched the original drummer. he sucked. there were a couple of shows i saw where he was barely hanging onto the beat. plus the new ones a babe.
