I was at that show.

The one at The Edge In Jax or elsewhere on that tour?

The first band was Morbid Angel.

Yep. Knew that too. I guess we never had a prayer of making it in time for them.

ETA: Thought I had mentioned I saw them in Jax but I didn’t. Only mentioned that for Pantera. I assume you saw it elsewhere.

The Sabbath show was at UNO, with only about a quarter of the arena used, the stage was set up at the bottom of the stands, up close and personal. Great show, but I was wasted by the time Sabbath hit the stage. Motorhead and Morbid Angel did me in.

I may have diverted a tragedy at a Pantera show once. One of the only things I still remember about that night was while they were playing I noticed the balcony railing (which I was up against) was moving up and down...a lot. Freaked me tf out, I told my boys who were with me who were like oh shite and word spread around us fast that we were making the whole balcony bounce.

Ok couldn’t remember where it was but after looking it up it was definitely State Palace.

I was lucky enough to see them three times. The first time was at a club in Florida in the early nineties after they played Moscow. The next two times I saw them were in arenas . Those were fun too but that Button South show was incredible.

This was at Lakefront Arena in New Orleans. Pantera never played Lafayette.

I saw this show and them, Sepultura, and Prong at State Palace as a HS junior. That show and Tool at State Palace are my 2 favorite shows ever.

Actually saw Pantera open for Skid Row. NYE 1991 in NOLA. Very powerful live show. Skid Row was riding the wave of their first album and touring on their not-so-inspiring sophomore album. Pantera was up and coming and seethed with energy on stage.

Still remember the energy they had and appreciate having seen Pantera live.
