Musical Poetry: Jim Gordon's piano coda

Anyone else think Jim Gordon's piano coda is one of the most beautiful pieces of music ever recorded? And then with Allman making his guitar cry, it's just an overall amazing work. I don't care how common the song is or how much fatigue is associated with it being played out, I can always listen to the coda and greatly enjoy it.

Strange fact: Jim Gordon killed his mother with a hammer and has been in a mental institution ever since.

Derek and the Dominos are one of the greatest bands ever. Fantastic lone studio album, and a killer live act.

Ummm. I think Bobby Whitlock was the guy who came up with the part you are speaking of.
Gordon was a tremendous drummer before he went crazy
