Most people have a problem with him calling his act that includes himself, Bruce Johnston, and a bunch of session musicians "The Beach Boys". It'd be the equivalent of Paul and Ringo calling themselves The Beatles if they decided to tour together.

I meant in that they were just a fraction of the band but yet go by the name of the band. They don't represent "The Beach Boys" without the other 3.
