Aren’t these dudes kinda a fake band put together by a label? I think the lead singer is model, the drummer a hip/hop/pop producer, etc?

Totally a fake af group. It was an experiment. I like what I hear from them but I can’t help but think of mili vanilii when I see them.

Well it wasn’t an “experiment”. The band was assembled by people with money to sell records. It was a vehicle for the music row songwriters to sell 80’s throwback sounding songs to the masses who still like actual country music.

Lead singer was an underwear model, bass player a producer for Bruno Mars music videos with connections; not sure about the other guy.
But I will say this- compared to what is being played on country radio today, i have to applaud their effort. The music is actually pretty good and made for grown ups, not 15 year olds singing about beaching it or small town boy like me with jay-z on the playlist.

I get what you are saying but I like authentic people. I just can’t allow myself to be sold this bill of goods. Country music...real stuff...is really suffering right now.
