Pretty interesting takes, and usually the stars that have had the most staying power, also liked the records that have had the most staying power. They are the ones that knew what was really good.
Most interesting one to me, is Pete Townsend. He's probably the most cerebral and deep thinker type, of any of the ones interviewed, and he just wanted everything to be straight up 3 chord rock'n roll. He didn't like any fancy productions.
Syd Barret's sarcasm was dripping like battery acid.
