Lost Bayou Ramblers new album Mammoth Waltz

For those of you familiar with their previous work they have kept a relatively traditional cajun style, but with this new album they have completely changed their sound and reinvented cajun music into a new genre.
Its cajun music with heavy drums and upbeat tempo you could throw in a guitar and call it rock.
Check it out i think they have really revolutionized cajun music and made it more mainstream. this is the future of cajun music
The collaborated with alot of big names like Dr. John and yes Scarlett Johansson on vocals in one song singing cajun french!

Amazing maturation of this band, I remembered when the played with T Sallle for the first time in Laffy, knew they were something special.
Played Skippers Smokehouse awhile back when I was in Tampa, great down to earth guys just looking to have fun and promote our heritage. I can't say enough about their musicianship, as people, etc

Really enjoying this album. Had no idea about Scarlett.
