This song has haunted me for over a year. I first heard it on the radio driving through Lafayette. Other songs by the band don’t move me the same way. Any recommendations for similar songs/ bands?

Whiskey Meyers, the Low-down Drifters, the Turnpike Troubadours, Pecos and the Rooftops, etc… there’s a bunch of them, just start a Shane Smith and the Saints or Whiskey Meyers channel on Pandora and they will introduce you to similar artists.

Feather in the wind and Alex are my favorite Shane songs. They are great live if you get a chance to go see them.

They play at the Rustic in December every year. Hell of a show. My first intoxication to the band was a live show and I was hooked. I don’t even normally like that style of music.
