Local Indie Music

I don't see a lot of indie music discussed around here, but there's a local group, Particle Devotion (formerly Gardens) that spawned from some School of Music grads and I think they're going to be something special.

They're playing the Varsity and dropping the debut album next Thursday.

England in 1819 has been going strong now for a few years and they sound better than ever.

There are some solid groups in Nola like Caddywhompus, Woozy, Cardinal Sons, Sharks Teeth etc. but... am I missing any other locals? Would be nice to hear some good indie rock without heading down I-10 or waiting for them to come to the spoon.
