I don't disagree with this statement, but I do think that Andre gets a lot of credit at the expense of Big Boi. People mostly assumed that Andre was the creative engine behind the group, but I think Big Boi has proven that assumption false on the strength of his solo album (which Andre still hasn't done).
I think they are both great lyricists and what makes them so mindblowingly awesome as a duo is the chemistry between their respective flows. When one of them finishes spitting a verse and the other one goes right into spitting his verse, it just sounds gooooooood.

Sorry didnt know. I use it to say I agree with your statement. I had no idea it was used sarcastically and I give thumbs up often

They will. Not only will they tour again, they'll put another album or two. I'm not holding my breath because I think this might be 4-5 years away. But I think it will happen.

What's crazy is that I actually agree with you. Hey Ya is the best pop song they ever put out, and -- as you said -- one of the best pop songs ever recorded. Yet it still doesn't crack my top five, and I thought about it really hard.
Conclusion: Outkast is gooooooood.

More like top 20.
And here's why. The song "Hey Ya" is the best example that I can give of a cultural/racial/socioeconomic common denominator. It broke down boundaries that I've never seen another song break down. And I don't mean that it improved race relations or something. I simply mean that there wasn't a definable class of people that DIDNT like the song "Hey Ya". Can you think of another song like that? Perhaps "Billie Jean". Any more?
I mean, black, white, indian, latina, asian, female, male, poor, rich, old, older....you still liked "Hey Ya". And how could you not? It was just so....fun. It had rednecks, frat kids, hipster kids, black kids, their daddies, and their mommas all shakin' it like a polaroid. And it's actually a really good song to boot. it's not merely catchy.
Basically, in my estimation, it's everything that a great pop song should be.
