Right on! The orange head is 500 watts, and it's a hybrid tube preamp, solid state power amp.
The ampeg b25 is all tube 7027a but is only 55 watts. However 55 tube watts is pretty freaking loud
I would have loved to buy an ampeg VR 300 watt, but I didn't want to spend the $2000 to aquire it..
The Ric is my baby but the maestro hollowbody is a blast to play with the flatwounds I have on it.

Yes that amp is a cheap piece of shite.
And yes I am envious of that 71 Gibson.

Back in the day I had real similar Fender Jazz Bass to this. Amp I still have. Kids use it now.
