I've read your many posts on the Dead Dog (great song btw)

Yeah, the Dead Dog was an awesome place but wasn't even the best in the area. That acclaim toes to "The Call of the Wild." That place defied description...

Had to have a boat or plane to get there and nothing was off limits. I don't think it ever closed either. Probably isn't many places like that left anymore. Some of the musicians that would come to those places were pretty damn good as well.

The Dead Dog was a casualty of changing values. Safety and security, predictability in exchanged for perceived order.
