Thete is a guitar in the guitar museum show in Austin called the Boostercaster. It is a heavily modified Strat I think. The narrative says ‘it twas found when a mental hospital in Weedley La. was torn down. The glee was a note with it saying not to touch the booster when playing’.

Tony Cochran makes these things as pop art pieces that you can play. He gives a little history to them for flavor. (ETA: I'm sure that he finds interesting bodies in pawn shops, estate sales and if they qualify for his special treatment, he rebuilds them with found parts, vintage parts whatever he can find and will work.)

The old school "mental" institutions in Louisiana were in Pineville, Mandeville and Jackson.

I'm not sure where "Weedle" Louisiana is or even if there is such a place.

Kind of like the musical version of a rat rod.

Wonder what happens, if you were to kind of accidentally touch the booster while playing? Surely somebody has tried it.
