As for ALIVE II, it was good when I was young. My favorite performance on that whole album is "King of the NIghttime World."
Yes, "Shock Me" is very rudimentary and on that album it's cheese dick...especially when Paul introduces ACE. "Shock Me" would have been founded by a band like Poison or Slaughter had it never existed.
ALIVE kicks ALIVE II's arse -- album gets very bad during the 2nd half.
