Juke Joint Festival - Clarksdale, MS

If you're into the black keys, the type of music that will be played all weekend in Clarksdale is what inspired DA to play the style he does. Clarksdale is the site of the infamous "crossroads" at which countless blues musicians sold their soul to the devil. This festival is basically just a huge block party, with food, music, and beer flowing. I go every year with a crew of ppl I went to highschool with and we always have a blast. Check it out if you want to hear what the blues sounds like today.

My mom grew up in Clarkesdale. Love me some Abe's. Wouldn't go back without an AK.

Haha it's not that bad man, we've never had any trouble.

My parents and some friends took a trip to it in a limo. They were talking about when the bar let out, they could barely get down the street and were surrounded for like 30 minutes. A few people beat on their car and stuff. My mom won't be going back.

Lol, it's a street festival. The police dept definitely increases their presence but for the most part it's just a big party and they let most stuff slide. What you described would be like trying to take a limo to a parade route in nola.
